Better redfish than deadfish My feeling is that US strength brought the above home to those saudi leaders. Read Friedman today about other prominent arabs emabarrasment in arab complicity with saddam and resentment toward euros who think arabs to be inferior(my words) and unsuited for democracy. Look i am willing to admit that the iraq war was a mixed bag and that evidence about wmds was from hyped bad info. But the folks who did the hyping did not know the evidence was bad. IF so they would have to have been fools to do what they did. We are where we are Red. Time for me and you to work together on the best solution. Pulling out is a bad birth control method and would be equally as bad in iraq. I think we agree, if we could get over the anger--rt wingers anger at the lack of support in the beginning and left winger anger at bush which is largely personal from the y2k election. mike PS if those saudi leaders were indeed complicit in 9/11 we can get them later

Which john do you back for president? We need a tough guy and i want to be somewhat comfortable if bush loses which is indeed possible. Can Kerry take principled non-political positions as president? Would he be willing to risk his presidency as bush has by doing things he believed in? Is Edwards all fluff or is their substance there. I keep hearing the same class warfare speech. Another southerner with a slick tongue. At this point i lean toward kerry. Once out of Mass he may be more moderate in his views. Mike
