Actually, Flynt claimed that he had four of the lady's personal friends --- supposedly knowledgible about the romance and the events --- who attested to the facts, but that the woman in question refused to answer all inquiries (strongly did not want to be in the public eye), and he could not publish for fear of libel charges from her. So, there it sits, an unverified Internet rumor. PS - he never claimed that "Bush" paid for the abortion... but that his father's campaign operatives (then Senatoral candidate in Texas) arranged matters while the younger Bush was working in the campaign... Bush, supposedly, didn't go to the hospital..
