Why would he have this great concern, you are speaking about? GW won the election, and as president, he has a duty to try and pass his platform, not the dem. one.

And now, you're surprised that the Dems look a little sour.

Absolutely. Politics is selling your ideas to the public, so they elect you to enact them. Just how many people are you going to sell anything, with a sour attitude like that. Get off of the sour look, and the anger theme, or be even angrier come Nov.

For at least 2-3 years, Bush got his way on almost every issue with little concern for the other side.

He approved increases in social spending including a major entitlement expansion. He never welded the veto. If anything it seems like he has less concern for fiscal conservatives then he has for liberals. Also he hasn't gotten his way on judicial appointments.
