I never heard him but on imus, commentators say he is hawkish although he voted against appropriations for other reasons.

Regarding kerry--his mt rushmore face creates confidence---thats why the current lead over bush. His failing is that he may look like abe lincoln but acts like jimmy carter. OTOH, edwards looks too much like a carny hustler. So both will get weaker as the campaign heats up. Bush wont look so bad. Even Redfish will have to consider his vote. Of course otoh, one may change demeanor or substance as campaign goes on. After all, i think lincoln was once considered as not so hot a presidential candidate. mike
