OK, Kerry is a golddigger. And Bush is an incompetant loser. So there, Kerry wins. Get the POINT?

Bush has sold out our country for $$$ for his cronies and has a long record of cash for trash deals. The Halliburton deal is a perfect example.

Kerry grew up in a classy WASP environment just like GW did but volunteered for combat and has never tried to enrich himself with inside deals like GW and his family have. GW had family money and a powerful father to help him. Kerry didn't. It therefore makes sense Kerry would be attracted to wealthy women, since he had the choice. Kerry is not personally rich. In fact he has been broke from time to time in his life.

Personally I find marrying rich Republican women a big plus. The guy's not stupid. Theresa's the widow of a major senator and knows what's what. Her money can help him protect his flank against A-holes making personal attacks. Thanks to her he could stay in the race when the press was anointing Dean as the nominee.

Money counts in politics a lot, but if you have ever seen JK and Theresa together you know they're very-very close and loving. They're definitely not faking it. So money isn't everything.
