"and the bottom 50% pay almost nothing, then the middle 49% of wage earners are making 57% of income (minus the percentage earned by the 50% who pay almost nothing,) AND YET PAYING ALMOST 64% OF THE TAXES"

Might be true. The 50% figure is a guess. Let's say the bottom 30%, which is a safer number. My point is, how much should the top 1% pay iyo? What is "fair" to YOU (vs. what is fair to them, which I am sure you do not care about).

"So who is it that's unfairly taxed. Is it the top 1%"

We all are. My point about the 1% is that they are villified as greedy assholes by the party you support, and I think any FAIR MINDED American would acknowledge they are paying enough. Since you gusy say they are not, what should they pay?

"The ONLY way to justify giving away tax money to the wealthy was that it was THE BEST WAY to jump start the economy and create jobs. As I've pointed out in previous posts, however, the structure of the tax cut was NOT designed to maximize job creation or jump start the economy"

But it has done the 1st part admirably, and the 2nd part is coming on strong (much to the chagrin of the party of hate).

"It was purely and simply a restructuring to reward and perpetuate the wealth of the few at the cost of the middle class"

This is an OUTRIGHT lie either being told by you, or furthered along by you. I am in the middle class, and I got a NICE dip in taxes. One that has helped immensly. Why do you guys act as though the middle class got left out?

The dishonest tactics are by far the most irritating part of the demo party. By far. Show the tax tables and then PROVE your lie.

Where is the source for your assertion that
the top 1% makes 43% of the total income?

This source says it is only about 17% (not 43%).

I think YOU have confused "top 10%" with "top 1%".

It is the "top 10%" that makes 43% of the total income.

The "top 1%" makes only 17% of the total income.
