I don't think they will condone it. But I think they will accept it. I can hardly believe that Americans will get incensed about anything unless it involves money coming directly out of their individual bank accounts. If the money is taken artfully, as politicians customarily do, all is well. So I hardly think this will cause an uproar. I would love to be wrong here! (grin)

Do you think Americans are going to support amending the constitution for such a silly issue...... Why don't you guys do something about serious things, like the economy, Iraq and the rest of the ME, mending the worlds woounds which Bush inflicted, get working on finding those 2.6million jobs (haha). No, RWnuts spend their time trying to amend the constitution with idiotic things like flag burning, gay marriage, prayer in school, balanced budgets (whoops, what happened to this one?), English as an official language and one or two more I can't remember at the moment.... Quit wasting the governments time and accept what will ultimately be decided by the Supreme Court....and they can only go one way....
