Our printing presses can print dollars faster than their wells can pump oil...so, no problemo! Kidding aside, I would never underestimate the creative power of the human mind. I saw Buckminster Fuller speak when he was still around and read some of his books. I think synergy and doing more with less are valid concepts. As he said, knowledge is a cumulative resource - the more you use it, the more you have. Unfortunately, what seems to me to be in severe deficit is our collective wisdom to make the right choices while we still have some breathing room. The exciting thing though, is that we'll get to see a lot of this played out in our lifetimes. I can't hardly wait!
