Earth to Anne, wake up, you're dreaming. From the AP:

"Some commentators believe the White House became complacent late last year when they assumed Bush would be facing former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean (news - web sites), whom they regarded as an ultra-liberal out of step with the country, in the election.

Now, with Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry the probable opponent Republicans have to throw out their early expectations of an easy victory and prepare for a tough fight against a respected Vietnam War veteran with a solid U.S. Senate record. "

* Kerry is no Dukakis, don't worry. He looks great in a tank and probably knows how to fire one. He certainly knows how to fire a .60 machinegun. Dukakis was a wimp, even compared to wimp Bush Sr. GW is a wimp next to Kerry. He is a whining little punk next to Kerry. The White House is understandably terrified. Why do you think they make up phony sex stories? That's desperation.

Goodbye Georgie. The Emperor with no clothes. The boy who cried wolf. Humpty-Dumpty. And Cheney is the Wizard of Oz.
