Why blame a god for the things we have done?

Yes...the problem of evil. Of course, the "problem" goes away as soon as we drop our tortuous analysis of imagined Deities--when one accepts that people can be hurtful or helpful. The only mystery is why they choose to be hurtful, sometimes. People certainly don't like being hurt themselves.

But all creatures "hurt" others as a process of survival. And I guess so much of human "survival" takes place on a psychological level--we who measure every piece of the emotional pie.
