<<To advance your corrupt agenda you have actually peddled the ungodly leftist lie that the Roman Church once commonly married Sodomites.>>

Actually this had little to do with my argument.

The Catholic Church sanctioned the Crusades, the Inquisition, censored Copernicus and Galileo, was complicit in the Holocaust (especially the Ustasha in Yugoslavia), and now has been covering up priests who molest children, so i don't consider them relevant when it comes to issues of morality.

My point, the point of the paper, is that marriage has changed substantially and fundamentally over time. So any argument to preserving the fundamental nature of marriage is false and moot.

You'd do better argue social harm from gay marriage, which i don't see, but at least it would be an honest and relevant argument.

And if you ever tire of this philosophy of yours which compels you to tell others how to live their lives i have another one you can try:

Live and let live.
