David Dryer? Does he represent your district, Lizze?

No... I am from the silicon valley area. Drier is from southern california... that area is better off due to government pork. In fact my belief is that the ONLY people who support Bush at this point from an economic standpoint are 1) real estate industry people and 2) pork industries like Defense. Everybody else is pissed. But anyway Drier has been on CNBC and CNN and he talks about that "household employment" indicator. Finally Greenspan himself drove a stake into that stupid scapegoat for republicans in his speech last week.

The fact that Dreier goes on multiple shows defending the Bush economy makes me wonder if there are many congresspeople who are willing to do that at this point. Unless you are in a safe district, going on CNN and talking about how great things are is kindof like painting a bullseye on your chest imho.

My congressperson is Tom Lantos, and then we have Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer senators. Barbara Boxer is the #1 target for the GOP to remove. HA! Boxer's support is feeble but people hate the GOP so much she has NO CHANCE of losing in this state.
