That's why I've been interested in finding some discussion of the subject.

If I had seen any, I would have posted it.

The Mayor is violating State Law. To prosecute him, a State DA, either in San Francisco or at the Sacramento office, would have had to file charges. Both are Democrats, and neither are willing to do so.

So the next level is a Court Order. If one is issued, he could be hauled into court as Judge Moore was. I expect a court order to be issued on appeal. It will then be appealed to the State Supreme Court, which will uphold the law. There is a Conservative Majority on the Supreme Court.

I expect the Mayor will then back down. I also expect the State to refuse to register the "Marriages."
