Al, if all Kerry and his supporters can come up with is, "Well we're not as bad as ..." he might as well drop the whole issue because he comes off looking like a sore loser. And it's still over eight months before the election. After all, consider this lame defense for Kerry's acceptance of lobbyist money, "Senator Kerry has taken individual contributions from lobbyists, but that has not stopped him from fighting against special interests on behalf of average Americans. If anyone thinks a contribution can buy Kerry's vote, then they are wasting their money." Oh sure, and I'm sure Kerry is perfectly willing to return the money just to prove he isn't beholden to their interests. After all, I thought he married well. <G> it's a loser for bush...
