I'm in no mood to post after root canal today<ggg>....Anyway, I have been selling a tad of dis and a tad of dat as we have moved up, so am sitting on some decent cash to put to work...just waiting for the right time....and looking for the right stocks to buy........I was thinking of throwing some cash at some of the old household names that were beaten into the crapper like LU, NT, JDSU, SUNW...however, I wouldn't touch them when they were ALOT lower then current pricing, so I am having a hard time convincing myself to buy them now, after each has had a very nice run up and are all near 52 week highs. I thought about nibbling on some sndk....it just split, and it wouldn't surprise me to see it pull an ebay..split, and go right back up to pre-split pricing...but, I am watching it for now.......not sure where to put my cash to use so just kind of waiting for now........

Leaving money in the market is like letting a neighbor take care of you house when you are on vacation.
When you get home the house is empty, the safe is missing, the fence is broken down and your dog has been screwed
I am ready for the standard spring tanking, lucky to have saved some assets. Too wild for my taste.
I am long on techs only with Jan 05 leaps ,plus some older reliable non-tech stocks

C'mon guys....if the idea is to buy LOW, everybody should be thrilled to see stuff getting whacked, and whacked pretty hard.

Now that 2000 has broken, with MO MOM looking bad, I dont think we are going to bounce back and hold 2k anytime near term.....so, what we need to do now, is figure what we think the low will be, and then what stocks to buy....I'm looking at the charts, but frankly I dont think they mean squat, so I am having a hard time figuring a bottom....do we hold above 1600- 1800 on naz? or was this last year just a mirage....a one year run in an overall bear market and old lows will be tested or broken? Lets hear some opinions....I have cash and want to buy, but obviously want to attempt to buy near the bottom, and honestly I have no idea if that bottom will be a month or 2 from now at 1600 - 1800 or 3 years from now at 1000 or less.......Dow seems to be holding up relatively well, but nazzy looks very scary, and the farther we go down, the more I think it will snowball........but where does it end, that is now the million dollar question.....
