I aleady told you that I was not happy with some of the social legistlation that was passed under Bush. I am upset that there haven't been any Republicans stand up like Newt did under Willys watch. GW is alot like his dad as he is not one to confront his opponents as he wants to work with them to get something done which is rare in Washington politics.

Lurch has flip-flopped on many issues over his tenure in the Senate as he votes with the appathy at the time. I also don't like this class warfare that the libs are always creating. I thought this country was founded on equal rights for all as the libs contend. You just like to leave out those things you disagree with.

GW made it clear to Russert what he knew and what not only our intelligence but the intelligence of other countries was providing him. Regardless of WMD this war was just a matter of time regardless. I think you libs forget that we were attacked on 9/11. As I told you earlier this war can be fought in the Middle East or you can bring it to your town. Which would you prefer? All of your socialist friends up north and in Europe wouldn't come to the plate and assist when we needed them. I think with rising Moslem
numbers in those countries they were afraid to step in because of retaliation. How soon they forget what we did in WWII. If you look at the national defenses in the socialist countries you will see very weak defenses as they spend all of their GNP on entitlement programs. You think our unemployment numbers are high take a look at some of these countries.

And yes with Bush I do know where he stands and he usually does what he says regardless of whether I always agree or not. Thats a rare thing in Washington.

I have written my only Senator (Grassley) expressing my concerns for this budget balloon as he is chairman of the finance committee. I haven't received a reply yet.

This is why I like Savage as he is not afraid to criticize anyone.
