Ken--I am a little puzzled at your problem.
I use Netscape and click Manage Bookmarks, then highlight the sites I don't want and click delete.
I must not understand your problem. I never know the answer to anything on this thread.

bookmark deletes

I'm def a beginner with the Netscape and Mozilla browsers

here is what I've found *( and YYMV, depending upon version, etc)

the method in IE
right clik
select delete from the popup menu
clik

the SAME thing did NOT work for me in Ntsp/Mz

what I did/do is
move the cursor to the desired bkmark
this highlights the entry
hit the DELETE button on the KEYBOARD

this makes the lil darlins disappear

see if that'll work for you
