Do you mean that you think it should be worded so as to allow states to enact gay marriages if they choose, but not force other states to recognize them?

If they did initiate a Constitutional amendment, it makes sense to me to address it as an exception to full faith and credit rather than imposing anything from on high.


I thought that was already covered by the Defense of Marriage Act.
