That's BS. Of course we could do a better job with education. But the lack of job growth now is not due to the US having poorly educated adults. The problem is wage differential, PERIOD!

Smart engineers in the US can't find jobs because those jobs can be done in India for 10 to 20% the cost. Do you think graduating more will change that?

He's not addressing that issue. He's using the education claim as a Red Herring.

It implies that it will create jobs.

I think there will be more jobs for brick layers and plumbers than mathemeticians, computer programmers, philospophers, etc.
