And the debt, the outrageous stock overvaluations, the deficit, the trade gaps, the jobs problems, the moral decline, etc. etc. etc. will ALL just disappear or become forever meaningless because the CHART says the DOW should go up? Your rather quick change from a mega-bear to a mega-bull should be proof enough that simply relying on some formula without taking actual FACTS into account is pretty ridiculous. It gives me comfort to own gold which has been hammered by those who are scared and those who do nothing but trade each day. If the FACTS are ever to be dealt with for the long-term, the stock market will make many jump out of buildings. If not, get ready for the standard of living in the US to drop like a rock. You'll still be able to get cheap products at Wal-Mart, but you may have to have a bucket of dollars to buy them.

I remain,

SOROS

You have to be joshing!

I haven't been posting in some time, but just could not let this post go unchallenged. If you are a student of history, you would note that the market went up some 80% in the summer of 1933. In fact, we are tracking that bear crash very closely.

Thereafter, the Fed raised rates 3 times and the market gave up the 80% and more. We are clearly in the sunny skies of the eye of the hurricane. Nonetheless, all should recognize that this game will come to an end.

Of course, this is just my view from the swamp!
