Lizzie, Bush is very well liked in India. The last US President who was so well liked as Bush is was Jimmy Carter.
Carter had a special corner in his heart or India because of his mother who was a US Peace Corp. volunteer in India. Carter also visited India as US President.

Clinton on the other hand talked a lot about India. But his policies did not favor India that much. He followed the US policy of past Administration which is to counter balance India and Pakistan. Bush on the other hand realized India's potential from his first day in office. And he is very well liked for that reason. The party om power right now is a rightist party, leaning on a religiously dogma (which Bush likes).

So yes India has a good potential for the US. BUt no matter what, it is this country first. And then sharing our wealth. I certainly do not subscribe to the concept of the flight of capital, jobs etc. to benefit the coffers of a few CEOs of large corporations. TYCO comes to mind isn't it?
