We should, however, detect and expose the most malevolent of these cynical attempts to manipulate us. Would you really characterize that Photoshopped photo of Kerry and Fonda as among "the most malevolent"? That was strictly amateur night, but believeable because Kerry and Fonda were at the same anti-war rallies (just not "together"). And actually, the professional Repubs don't need that sort of help, especially with the audio tape of Kerry's 1971 testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee played on talk radio.
