This is bad news:

Nader to Jump in Presidential Race

Friday, February 20, 2004
By Liza Porteus

NEW YORK — Ralph Nader, the consumer advocate who ran for president in 2000 as a Green Party candidate, will enter the 2004 race for the White House as an independent candidate, advisers told Fox News on Friday.

I thought so too and then I realized its not likely people will make the same mistake twice. I also suspect he's making the threat so that one of the main parties will pick up his issues. As an aside, Nader must be a major a-hole to do this again given the current circumstances.

VERY bad news.

I'm hoping Buchanan jumps in as well.

John, surprised Nader is jumping on board, given what transpired previously. This will make it harder. The polls show this election could be too close.

Kerry or Edwards will have a juggling act to retain their constituents from heading to Nadar, especially in California. Hope Nadar only intends to play hardball for just a couple of months in order to get the Green Party's issues on the Democratic map.

The polls showed Kerry leading this election, but if Nadar stays in the race, Bush will probably win. Do we even have another $100B in the bank to spend on yet another war?

Here's what happens when a country starts going on a spending spree:
