But unfortunately for Martha, Pasternak also re-affirmed the rest of the testimony - that Martha was aware that Waksal was trying to dump his stock.

The whole case is pretty weird - it sure looks to me like there was a (weak) attempt at a cover-up by Martha and her broker, although whether the jury will agree on this is another matter. In my view they wouldn't be prosecuting at all if this was Martha Doe.

(But I'm hoping that Tyco's Kozlowski and Enron's Skilling both get nailed - looks like Ken Lay might walk, though.)
