re:Are there many tech jobs in the unions? I certainly don't think there are many union jobs in call centers. Aren't unions concerned mostly with industries in which members are employed?

The unions have lost jobs for decades, I wasn't talking directly about call centers regarding unions, but the subject of jobs moving overseas and even to Mexico has probably cost the Unions more jobs than any other industry in the USA - Kerry can't avoid the elephant in the room and not address this when speaking to Unions. I'm curious what his position will be.

It seems like a no brainer to me........keep the jobs in the US! However, the rich, conservative CEOs don't care about the little guy! Its all about profits. <g>

While Greenspan has claimed this was not an issue as America moved to become a service economy - what's a call center if not a service industry?

Greenspan is a tired old man who got away with chasing non existent inflation for two years and peddling recessionary monetary policy instead.
