Thomas, Re: Chris gave up debating facts a long time and many embarrassments ago. A troubling pattern that is repeated by millions of people who are outrageously ill-informed, prejudiced and motivated not by truth, science, or virtue. Bush is capitalizing on stupidity as his main support. I hear their insipid calls every day on C-SPANs Washington Journal. It's as if a whole segment of our society has been drugged into a stupor of sycophancy. The one characteristic of all these people is the inability to seek out reality. Instead, they prefer to confect their own. The news item this week on how many complaints the Bush Cabal's science advisors have about being scorned and derided by the Bushistas for honesty and, well, science, is a matter that the Bush faithful simply don't concern themselves with. What we have in America today is the rise of a No-Nothing Party the likes of which this nation has never suffered before.
