I admit, I prefer fruity whites, usually. I like dessert wines. I drink a reasonable amount of red, but will more often buy to drink a Moselle, say an auslese. I prefer amontillado, but cream sherry is good. I used to buy vintage port more often, but the price spiked, so I mainly get reserve port from time to time. About twenty years ago, prices on madeira were excellent, but then it was "discovered" and became less attractive. I still like to buy it on occasion.

One thing is that we do not drink very often, so a case goes a long way. We might experiment more if we drank more........
