Yippee!! That was a Dean yell for the fact this forum is on top of hot list again. You will probably get the e-mail soon. I'm concerned that Edwards spokesmen on TV are not promoting him with enough clarity. Chris Matthews just asked Edwards' campaign strategist if his candidate would appear one night next wk on Hardball for a debate EVEN IF Kerry did not show up. Instead of immediately answering Yes!, he said well Sen Kerry might not show up. How dumb was that? It would be Free national TV exposure...an expensive gift. If Kerry does not show up, he looks like a wimp & Edwards has a captive audience to explain the reason why he would be more likely to beat Bush. Edwards should call in before show goes off the air & say....I'll be there. It's one of the oldest political ploys in the handbook. Challenge your opponent to debate, if he doesn't show up--the empty chair speaks negative volumes about him.
