Hold on, I think I hear someone pounding on my door <ggg>. I'm not really much of a liberal more of an independent than anything else. Legalization of pot is more or less just common sense in my book. The prohibition of pot has put a huge load on our economy and our prison systems where it could an should be a boon. One only has to look back to the roaring 20s to figure that out. When prohibition was repealed our society didn't turn into a bunch of alcoholics but it sure put a dent in the mafias' net take when the speakeasies disappeared. Same would happen with pot. Hell we could use the tax proceeds to initiate a slew of new antidrug programs!!! Not to mention using the money to fight other drug smuggling! I do appreciate your comment. Glad to see others with an open mind about this.
