..drive Protestants crazy, especially fundamentalist Protestants. Yep. Though I'm not a fundamentalist now I was brought up that way. If Gibson strikes one single note that's contary to the Gospels people like them (and you) will probably object and be turned off. It would turn me off. But I don't know if I'm representative. I suspect a majority will be so happy a major film is being made on Jesus they'll overlook Gibson taking liberties with the Bible especially if they think the liberties are minor. They have the feeling that Christianity is under attack these days. So "let's hang together and not scrap about some discrepencies if the major theme of the Gospel is there" will be how most see it. JMO
