If I understand this correctly, Medicare and Medicaid only pay X amount of dollars per procedure so many doctors won't take patients without private health insurance. The system doesn't work. Ditto the ridiculous system that has hospitals charging $2 for an aspirin. What's that about? Canadian doctors make about 1/3rd less, does that mean they're only 1/3rd effective? American doctors kill about 100,000 patients a year, maybe they'd only kill about 2/3rds of that.
