Ray,

<<<Yahoo News does a great disservice to us by removing stories from their server after a brief period of time.>>>

I suppose I see it a little differently. The disservice comes from rarely publishing anything worth saving. IMO the most interesting quality of the CIA article was how something so completely sense free is able to pass for news. Rumors, hearsay, innuendo, anonymous sources, official denials, etc. are completely worthless as far as serious information content is concerned. I happily rated the article with a "1" before posting the link. About once every 2 or 3 months I find something on Yahoo I consider worth making a file copy of for my own records, but otherwise I think they use good judgement in deleting the majority of the items in their news section ASAP. It has some minor value for picking up on the trends of the thought police, but the only real investigative journalism being done today is by independent sources.
