josh, Please don't mention convertibles. I got a 57 Ford convertible during my senior year in college, and had all kinds of trouble with it. Unfortunately, it had Firestone tires, and they were having the same problem then, that they have had recently. The tread would just come loose, and fly around the wheel well until it blew out onto the road. I think that car had AC, but am not absolutely sure.

One time, driving from Austin, back to Brenham, one of those Texas drizzles came along, with pouring down rain, and significant wind gusts. It was so bad that it lifted up the sides of the ragtop, and drenched everyone in the car. Please be advised. Driving from Austin DOES NOT mean that I went to TU. I made many drives, in that car, back and forth to College Station. :^))
