re: Usually stocks that split are going up anyway. When they announce a split it usually affirms it and interest in the stock. Some people like that.

Didn't work that way with SanDisk, as discussed on another thread. In fact the stock topped just about the time they announced the split. I'm just having fun with petty "Na Na Na, I told you so".

re: On a side note...amazing how the government gets away with lying about inflation.

I tend to agree with you.

re: Bush may have shot himself in the foot with the immigration and deficit.

Immigration may be the one area where I agree with him.
