this is a joke right? Larry Kudlow has been saying that for months. Larry Kudlow also predicted a huge jobs rebound when "the capex cycle kicks in". Anybody involved in the "capex cycle" knows that a huge amt of capex spending is related to JOB GROWTH.

If Kudlow was smart he'd stop flapping his mouth. I watched Kudlow and Cramer the day of the 1000 new job growth in december came out. They were predicting 300K jobs that month.

Both HP and Cisco have tech "capex" budgets increasing at 1-2% this year. No US-based knowledge worker jobs, no capex. When we see 300K jobs/month consistently, THEN we will see capex, not before.

Larry Kudlow From August 03:

As for future growth, order backlogs for non-defense capital goods (excluding aircraft) have increased six consecutive months at a 9 percent annual rate, according to the U.S. Commerce Department. This is a classic leading indicator of corporate capital spending and job creation. (wrong!!!)

And this is exactly what too many pundits and politicians don't understand, or refuse to admit: When businesses put their profits to work in the next round of capital-goods investment, the jobless recovery will give way to a new job-creating cycle. (wrong again!!!)

Kudlow must be smoking a controlled substance again. Larry lost a prominent position some yrs back because he was abusing either drugs or booze.
He's one of those fanatic Capitalist Fundamentalists who worship Adam Smith.

"Larry Kudlow thinks we can grow at 300K jobs per month this year. That's more then Bush's 2.6 million"
