Have you heard of Reagan Democrats? Well, I believe that we need to give a President 8 years to finish the tasks a President undertakes in the first term. Provided. Provided that the tasks he/she undertakes is something that we agree with. There was no problem in granting Reagan or Clinton another 4 years. But Carter and Bush Sr.? The high interest rate of the Carter years, the Iranian fiasco. And the people said No. For Bush Sr. the American people were looking to the next 4 years and not to the previous 4 years (Desert Storm). And all that they got from Sr. was a economy spiralling downward for as far as they could see into the future. We are in a similar situation now except that it is more worse. The loot and plunder of the US, a la Halliburton, secret energy circle meetings in the WH, the manipilation of intelligence, preemptive strike and a disregard for the world community. And the American people are about to say "Enough is enough" So tonto, it not about Democrats doing something and other democrats backing them. It is about all us Americans questiong what Bush has done. It is not a crime to hold our President accountable is it? It happens in the businesses all the time. If you fail to perform, you are gone.
