I believe it was originally brought up by discussion of Soros and his donation to moveon.org. I believe someone brought up his stand on palliative care and euthanasia for the dying as evidence of his lack of morals or some other such thing. It then went on to discussion of the high cost of end of life care, the lack of insurance for 40 million Americans and then into why they aren't covered by Medicare/Medicaid. We could get into a discussion of that POS Tauzin who is apparently leaving Congress where he lobbied very hard for the Medicare bill (you know, the one where the gov't is not allowed to bargain for drug costs) and is now going to Big Pharma Lobbying Corporatino for a $2m/year job. I don't know if he's actually gone through with it but he should burn in hell (or somewhere equally comfortable) if he does. What is wrong with these people? I thought they were supposed to be good Christian folk. Sheesh.
