The bottom line is that USGA management has lied and misrepresented themselves to the investment community. Critics posted DD here, Our-street.com picked up on it and uncovered even more damaging information, and now the SEC is investigating. USGA has lived by the press release and the resulting coverage, and now they are dying by it. If it's true that the Forbes/Wolfe Nanotech Report includes USGA in its list of nanopretenders and says to stay away, it will more than offset the small mentions in IBD or anywhere else. We already knew that no reporter had done any DD on USGA before publishing their name. They simply restated what they read in press releases. Now some of these reporters are going to take a more critical look at USGA. We will see more negative reports in the near future, I think. Since the SEC stepped in, the latest 10QSB, for which the company promised over and over again would be filed on time, is late. A new PR company has been hired. It sure seems as if USGA is trying to figure out how to undo the lies and misrepresentations from previous PRs and 10Q's. Some here have theorized that USGA will NEVER file their 10QSB. Rather than risk further violations of securities laws they will let USGA become de-listed and end up a Pink Sheet stock. All the discussion of short sellers and speculation about who is a paid tout or paid basher is irrelevant. The point is that USGA is severely wounded. Only a significant contract announcement can save the stock now. USGA shareholders have been anticipating this for months now, based on the misleading PRs from the company. IMO, if USGA was going to sell any product to the military, it would have already happened. The string of announcements about humvee armor being shipped to Iraq all but proves this. Rep. Simmons said nothing to hint at USGA being approved at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Nobody has come up with any evidence or argument to refute Our-street's allegations. The most serious allegation, IMO, is that G-Lam is simply a woven sheet of Zylon, the controversial anto-ballistic fiber now under the microscope for safety and performance. If true, and there hasn't even been an attempt to say otherwise, the entire foundation of USGA's share price has collapsed. No nanotechnology, no proprietary anti-ballistic material, no more hyping the share price up. It, then, is just a matter of time before the market price catches up. ragingbull.lycos.com
