I don't know about god determining everything, i.e. every little thing, in the future. God probably does not determine how I speak to my wife or children tonight, unfortunately for them. I think that is true because I experience myself as being able to determine how I behave toward them. That may be an illusion, but I accept it as true because I experience myself as responsible in those interactions. However, a god may know enough about me and the universe to know what I will do without determining it. I can make some predictions about people that turn out to be true because I understand someone or something well enough. As 2Mar$ said, we ourselves can predict the future well enough to put a craft on mars or beyond. But god may not need to determine how I speak to my family in order to still determine ultimate outcomes in the universe. I don't know why those are mutually exclusive future options. Omniscience and omnipotence are concepts that serve particular purposes in specific contexts. I don't think often in those categories, although that fact probably reflects poorly on me. If there is a god, that god must be big and smart enough to determine the ultimate outcomes in question. I don't know that god would have to determine everything I say or do in order to achieve those ultimate ends. I doubt it.
