What the heck are you capitalizing the word 'religious' for? <You're not aware that Atheism is a Religion?> I don't consider it a religion, the definition of the word generally meaning to "belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe," but have no objection when religious people alter its definition to mean "disbelief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe." It doesn't matter to me. I find it touching, in fact. And in fact, sometimes religious people mean to compliment you when they say that. So go ahead and say no means yes and atheism is a religion if you like the feeling it gives you to say that... But I'd suggest you write it this way: Atheism is a religion. instead of this one: Atheism is a Religion. The capitalization is incorrect (and imo a little comical). Which was my point. I didn't raise the question of whether atheism was a religion. I questioned why the heck that noun had been capitalized, this being English and not German we're speaking. I retract my offer to explicate the post you didn't understand. P.S. "Atheism," also, requires no capitalization. Of course if either of those words begins a sentence or is written in German, that's different.
