There is a beauty in the Mass which is hard to find anywhere else. Some symphonies come close, but it's hard to surpass the transcendental beauty of a sung High Mass.

I completely accept that. If I had to name my favorite song in the world, it would be Amazing Grace. The religious impulse in human beings has provided the inspiration for very great art.

But what brings me back now is a sense of esthetics. There is a beauty in the Mass which is hard to find anywhere else.

I remember them and agree with you.

Do you have any thoughts on how one would go about finding one? Just start calling churches and asking?
