Re: Could (Nader) be on the Bush payroll :--)???

Grover Norquist, head of Americans for Tax Reform, holds elite invitation-only lunches for the right wing power broker set every Wednesday in Washington. Nader has made a couple of appearances there. Some suggest as an ally.

Al Sharpton's main money man and campaign advisor, Roger Stone, had the interesting job in late 2000 of riding the Enron jet, collecting big beefy Republicans to take with him down to Miami-Dade County where he led the bunch of toughs up to the 16th Floor of the County Building to intimidate the workers in the Clerk's office recounting the ballots. He stopped the vote recount dead in its tracks. Then he went on to manage a campaign for a white supremicist party in Bermuda....

Politics can be a very sleazy business, when you get right down to it.

The problem is that Nadar has a point, and the major parties both pretend he doesn't, or that the point doesn't matter. But it does.
