That would be interesting. A game of who could siphon off the most votes from the major party candidate. I think (I hope) the dems have learned from Nader's last run that a vote for him is a vote for Bush. But it would be amusing to see it happening to both parties in the same election.

Patrick Buchanan is your man - he ran last time. Didn't cost Bush many votes. Haven't heard any recent news.

Total crackpot IMO.

They needs to recruit a super-conservative that will challenge Bush as an Independent also - to the right of him.
Maybe Delay or Ron Paul?

Better choices would be Pat (or Ray) Buchanan or Pat Robertson. Delay would never do it -- he knows he couldn't win, and he's in the catbird seat where he is.

Bush Administration: Fast Food Jobs may belong in the manufacturing sector, not the service sector:

The latest edition of the Economic Report of the President has questioned whether fast-food restaurants should be reclassified as manufacturers or continue to be part of the service sector. Congress currently has no answer.
This is comparing the making of a hamburger to making an automobile. N Gregory Mankiw, Council of Economic Advisers chairman, says this is "an important consideration" in setting economic policy. Fast-food jobs would be listed with industrial jobs.
"When a fast-food restaurant sells a hamburger, for example, is it providing a 'service' or is it combining inputs to 'manufacture' a product?" -report. Economist D Huether says this will make stats show more jobs in a declining part of the economy.
