A couple of days ago there was a panel discussion on CBC TV, and one of the topics was the racial mix in Europe, and specifically the large Arab population in France, Belgium & Germany. There was of course much hesitation in this discussion, because nobody wants to be labled a racist, intolerant, etc. But it was stated that in a few generations, if one projects birthrates, North African Moslems will be in majority in a few countries there. No one wanted to discuss the implications in any detail. Taboo.

Searle, Since Buchanan has founded the American Conservative Magazine, I've followed his writings pretty closely. I'm in 100% agreement with him when he's bashing the likes of Richard Perle and George Bush. Re: Peak Oil -- I think the oil story is only going to get more important in the years ahead.
