You may leave all your possessions completely vulnerable to me and by God I would not touch a single thing, except to protect it – for “us.” That is also why should I see you hurting, in need of food, clothing, water or anything else, I will give it to you. The only way I would choose to harm you would be if I were to somehow forget our shared identity here in nature and disconnect from you, acting in my mind in my “own” behalf against you, but truly against my own nature. This is the true mental illness that has infected almost all of the “others” you have mentioned. It is why we have abortion, why men actually leave their wives – their own mates(!), why we have “no fault” divorce, child abuse, general unfaithfulness, distrust, why the elderly are increasingly abused, forgotten and left to languish away in loneliness and die in "care centers" while their own children lead "busy" lives (I know this – I just today visited many of them). It is why there is increasing crime, why businesses "downsize" so easily, simply because the bottom line looks a bit rough. Why everyone expects stuff "now," with no consideration for anyone else. It is why you are so blind to everything but yourself and why you, you yourself, consistently act like such a friggin' idiot. That is why I would approve of something called civil unions that wouldn't diminish traditional marriage nor deny equal rights to those who are different.
