Ron, agreed. The only reason they are considering an amendment is because they know that any law that outlaws gay marriage IS unconstitutional. By adding such an amendment, the Constitution will be tied in knots for decades, and start to become a contradictory and eventually irrelevant document. Seems to be the goal of people like John "never let someone's rights get in the way of an arrest" Ashcroft. Btw: excuse the insults. Most of the righties here are still emotionally in junior high school.
