He might have earned voters respect if he'd started campaigning months and months ago so that people could get an understanding of who he is and what he believes in.

But as it is, he won't be taken seriously by entering the race so late.

I do respect what he values and I respect his campaign for it, like I said, up to a point. Passing that point is not constructive. We all do what we can to advance our ideas. People of character and wisdom leave the sledgehammer at the bottom of the toolkit. There are lots of egomaniacs out there with "convictions."

Here's how I interpreted Nader's comments this weekend. He is "running" to be another Bush bashing front. The media will dutifully publish his words since he is, after all, a presidential candidate. And he reassured the democrats that he won’t steal votes from their candidate [because he will drop out before the election].
