I think the term hypocrite will be applied to Bush more often than Kerry.

Kerry may have protested the war after he came back from Vietnam - but he earned that right by going and being wounded there in the first place.

On the other hand you have Bush - who weaseled out of duty in Vietnam - but now has no qualms about sending young men to do what he wouldn't do - get waist deep in the sh%t in a conflict overseas .

Both sides will say "hypocrite" but when you look at the facts the only hypocrite is Bush. Bush is saying Kerry is on both sides of many issues. All that means is that he's a thoughtful moderate and not a radical winger like Bush has become. Since most Ameicans are moderates they will appreciate a president who doesn't see the world in black and white, unrealistically that is.
