Perhaps so GST. Perhaps so.

But I fail to see the difference between the "rats" infesting the political process from those infesting Wall Street, corporate board rooms, judicial chambers, police stations, church rectories, hospitals, editorial desks, teamsters truck cabs, plumbers union halls, or dare I say... internet BB's. <Hoo?>

We all have our own appetites for cheese, have we not? ...A little "free lunch" perhaps? ...The better end of the bargain? ...The winning hand? ...The "avoided" tax?

Perhaps there is a rain forest somewhere hiding a tribe of humans as yet ignorant of the benefits of the Big Lie, but I suspect we eraticated such retrograde elements from the DNA many moons ago.

If we want a system in which compromise is a favored trait, we should not be surprised when our personal ethics are folded, bent and twisted to fit. ...Particularly for any person, or any nation, which wants to lead a massively pluralistic crowd of "alleged" followers without an equally massive stick.
