I wasn't referring to that. Besides, it's almost too easy to pick on Pat Robertson, and Rooney isn't really going out on a limb by doing so.

he doubts that God talked to either Robertson or Gibson.

He's got some nerve comparing Gibson's making of "Passion" to Robertson's prediction of the 2004 election.

That is what a lot of preachers do. Predict, or say, what they think God wants us to do. That is not Rooney's profession. Robertson often claims to have heard God's word' Some of his parishioner's believe him, some don't. For Rooney to mock him though, takes on a new dimension; apart from his usual style. I don't think a lot of people will like it; because it isn't a joke to many people, if that was what Rooney was trying to make of the commentary. We will see.
